The Kopi Luwak
Kopi Luwak is an exceptional coffee, produced from coffee beans eaten and then excreted by a small animal called a luwak (or Asian civet).
Kopi Luwak is an exceptional coffee, produced from coffee beans eaten and then excreted by a small animal called a luwak (or Asian civet).
Our coffee comes from the heights of Lake Toba , in Sumatra , Indonesia , where exceptional volcanic soil enriches the beans with a unique aromatic complexity. This rare terroir, combined with a natural and ethical process, makes our Kopi Luwak one of the rarest and most authentic coffees in the world.
Sourced exclusively from wild civets living freely around Lake Toba in Sumatra, it is hand -harvested in partnership with a trusted local producer active since 1945 , now carried by the third generation of growers and roasters.
